Join us for the Philippine Heritage Collection (PHC) Open House at Echo Park Branch Library! Enjoy a special book reading by award-winning children’s author Marissa Bañez, dive into a fun parol-making workshop, and indulge in refreshments. The PHC serves Historic Filipinotown and boasts over 1,000 books in English, Tagalog, and other Philippine languages—making it the only collection of its kind in all 70 branches of the LA public library system. Celebrate Filipino culture, discover this unique collection, and bring the whole family for an exciting and enriching experience!
