Hello community members!

As you know we are just 18 days away from making history. We have the opportunity to elect this first Filipino American to the LA City Council in Ysabel Jurado! As the daughter of undocumented Filipino immigrants, single mom, and tenants rights attorney, she will be our voice on council.

So this Sunday 10/20 we are gathering as a community to rally in support of her and to talk to voters. Please join us alongside LA City Controller Kenneth Meija, Monterey Park Mayor Thomas Wong, Pilipino American LA Democrats, and Asian Dems to elect Ysabel to the City Council.  This race is going to be so close, so we need our community to come out and be the difference makers in this election.

What: Canvass Launch to Elect the 1st Filipino American to LA City Council

When: This Sunday 10/20 at 1-3pm

Where: Yosemite Recreation Center, Eagle Rock 

Why: To make history & have Filipino representation for the 2nd largest city in the US! Plus there will be filipino food :)
