Lost LA: Historic Filipinotown” premiering on KCET

Season 6 of PBS Socal’s “Lost LA” will feature HiFi, as well as our very own Joseph Bernardo and Gerald Gubatan in episode 2: “Lost LA: Historic Filipinotown.”

It’s airing on Tues., Jan. 9 at 7:30 p.m. on PBS SoCal / Wed., Jan. 10 at 8 p.m. on KCET.

Description: Filipino Americans work to make their heritage more visible in Los Angeles. In this episode, host Nathan Masters explores the yo-yo's surprising origin story, tours Historic Filipinotown in a Jeepney and tastes classic Filipino street foods. Featured interviews include: activist/librarian Florante Ibanez and the hosts of “This Filipino American Life” podcast.
