The Latino Theater Company teams up with Playwrights’ Arena to present 'MIX-MIX: The Filipino Adventures of a German Jewish Boy,' a WWII play inspired by the true-life experiences of Ralph J. Preiss. This gripping narrative tells the coming-of-age tale of 13-year-old Rudy Preissman, who flees Nazi Germany at the age of nine with his family in search of safety in the Philippines. However, their tropical sanctuary is disrupted when Japan invades the islands, compelling the family and their Filipino companions to seek refuge in the heights and depths of sacred Mount Banahao.
